About the Journal
Focus and Scope
theologie.geschichte is a multi-lingual, peer-reviewed, open-access journal of theology and cultural studies.t.g fosters an interdisciplinary discussion and an international intellectual exchange among researchers concerning the topic of the cultural influence and impact of the totalitarian movements of the 20th century. The question here to be pursued is whether and to what extent intact remnants of the multifarious totalitarian theories and practices exert continued influence upon the cultural developments and exigencies of the present. The chronological focus of contributions to the journal rests upon modern and contemporary history.
Contributions can be submitted and published in either the German, English, or French language. Within the journal, scientific articles take their place alongside miscellaneous essays and reviews.
Monographs, Anthologies, Dissertations, and Habilitation Papers falling within the thematic bounds embraced by theologie.geschichte may be published under favorable publishing conditions as printed supplementations to the journal.
Peer Review Process
The Process of Peer-Review
An open Peer-Reviewing is available with consent of those authors who wish their work to be so reviewed. An essay subjected to the process of Peer-Reviewing is first published as a Discussion Paper and can be subsequently published as a Final Paper after attention has been given to peer-submitted critique of the paper in its earlier form. In all other instances of Peer-Reviewing, the journal practices a “double-blind” process of Peer-Review.
Open Access Policy
theologie.geschichte provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
